Seventeen year old South Dade High School senior, has performed leading roles in musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera and High School Musical. At 12 she sang in Carmina Burana with the New World Symphony. For the past three years Superior Solo Soprano award (Florida Vocal Association). First Soprano Lead, American Choral Directors Association. Chosen by the Superintendent of Miami Dade County Schools as one of the top 10 vocalists in the county, Nicole debuted at the Arsht Center. In 2011 she performed in the AT&T Young Stars Showcase at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center and sang alongside Placido Domingo Jr.

Originally from Cuba, he started his studies in Miami and continues perfecting his technique in Barcelona with Dalmacio Gonzalez. He has received master Classes from Juan Pons & Montserrat Caballe. In 2007 debuted on the role of Julian in La Verbena de La Paloma, and in 2009 in Chapi's LA BRUJA in the role of The Inquisitor. Future concerts include , El Palau de La Música en Valencia, Castillo de Peniscola (Valencia), Auditorio y Palacio de Congresos de Castellón etc.

Eduardo Calcano, tenor. Studies: Hochschule für Musik, Vienna, Giuseppe Verdi’s Conservatory, Milan. Career Highlights: Pagliacci, Teatro Teresa Carreño: Aida, Trovatore, Guatemala. Recent: Rigoletto with Miami Lyric Opera. Upcoming: World premier, 19 de Abril by Luis Ochoa, Teresa Carreño. He has sung extensively through out the USA, Europe, and South America. Some significant roles for Mr. Calcaño are Turiddu (Cavalleria Rusticana), Canio (I Pagliacci), Alfredo (La Traviata), I Duca di Mantova (Rigoletto), Rodolfo (La Boheme), Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Manrico (Il trovatore), Don Jose (Carmen), Radames (Aida), Title role (Andrea Chenier) and many others. Mr. Calcaño resides in New York City and studies private voice with Maestros Manny Perez and Bill Schuman.

The art of singing is unequivocally Jeheremy Characo’s medium of expression, from singing in the shower to unknown audiences as a kid to very well known female audiences as a teenager. He has studied with Venezuelan bass-baritone Francisco ‘Pancho’ Salazar, soprano Kathleen Bell at Miami-Dade College, and Dr. Jeremy Hunt at UCF where Characo graduated with a BA in Music Performance. In the last 3 years he has continued to perform with the operatic choruses of Orlando Opera and Florida Grand Opera. Nowadays, Jeheremy Characo resides in Miami, where he has taken lessons with Manny Perez, and continues to study with Jason Ferrante with the purpose of pursuing a musical career in the Opera.
 

Henri Coizeau
Bass-baritone

Henri Coizeau has been praised for his “wide range and color”. He attended Florida International University School of Music, where he performed roles such as Figaro, Count Gil in Wolf-Ferrari’s Il Segreto di Susanna, as well of a variety of opera scenes. He won the NATS competition as a junior in High School (1998), and then again as a freshman in college (2003). In the year 2000 he was invited to join the ACDA Choir (the only singer to be chosen from the State of Florida). Currently Mr. Coizeau is working on a wide repertoire, learning the roles of Raimondo, Don Giovanni, and Conte Almaviva, among others. He has performed arias ranging from Don Giovanni, Macbeth, Edgar, Queen of Spades, Tannhäuser, Faust, Il Trovatore, among others. Mr. Coizeau resides in Coral Springs, Florida. He studies voice with Mr. Manny Perez and coaches with Daniel Daroca and Jorge Arcila.

Grand Opera Choir and “Compañía Lirica de Puerto Rico”, “The Casals Festival” “the cousin” in the Opera “Madama Buterfly” and as “the friend” of Adriana in the Zarzuela “Los Gavilanes, University of Puerto Rico, Adriana in the Zarzuela ”Los Gavilanes”. Recently moving to Miami to pursue her singing career, Dianne is now working with The Opera Atelier. Opera Moments IV She will debut as Zerlina.
 

Marinel Cruz

Marinel Cruz, soprano, has performed the roles of Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Suor Angelica in Suor Angelica, Micaela in Carmen, The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Mimi in Boheme and Dido in Dido and Aeneas. She received her Master’s degree in Music Performance, with Prof. William Woodruff, at The Conservatory of Music of Brooklyn College. She completed the Artist Diploma at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico.

The original choreographies by Vladimir Issaev are elegantly woven in with the riveting staging by artistic director Jorge Arcila. The excellent cast features young artists alongside seasoned performers accompanied by musical director Daniel Daroca.
